Kitchen

The nursery has its own integrated kitchen and dedicated cook, Lisa, with willing helpers from all age groups. All food is cooked daily on the premises and sourced from local suppliers. The menu is varied, nutritional and can be ammended to suit dietary needs of individual children. Parents input into the menu is encouraged and any suggestions for meals will be incorporated into the menu whenever possible. The nursery caters for dietary needs.

Outside

The nursery has an acre of secluded countryside, surrounded by high hedges for privicy, it is close to Worstead station and the historic village of Worstead. Within the grounds there are secure fenced play areas.

The pre-school room has its own dedicated play area behind the nursery.                                                The toddler room and baby room have access to a large all weather surface area, a large garden area containing an all weather sand pit and climbing frame with safety flooring, with an area for planting and growing. This area leads onto a fenced woodland area, being remodlled to house a sensory area, a wet land habitat, a bird watching hide and trees with rope and tyre swings.

Our wet land area in place awaiting further work and the sensory garden, with its bench and plants. The new turf area being watered.
The Lavender room

A recently refurbished area within the nursery that is available for all rooms. It''s main purpose is to act as a large inclement weather play area, containing a balancing beam and large soft play equipment. This was made possible through the national lottery ''Awards for all'' program and was officially opened in June 2008 by Mr Norman Lamb MP.

Administration

The nursery has its own administration staff, Kerry, and the office is occupied on most days should parents have any concerns or enquiries of a financial nature. We pride ourselves on being flexible and approachable, as a charity our aim is to provide the best and most flexible chicdcare at reasonable cost, with that in mind the nursery and the Worstead Festival support assisted places for children in the surrounding parishes. Further details of the scheme on request.
