Pre School rooms.

The pre-school rooms are for children from 2.5 to 5 years of age. They have a dedicated room supervisor who is also the childcare manager. She is assisted by up to two members of staff at any one time.
The children have direct and continual free access to a dedicated secure outside play area,

this is situated at the rear of the nursery.
The children can also access the main play area and the secure woodland walk. We believe the best classroom is the outside environment, children play outside all year round and experience the open countryside and the changing seasons. Wellingtons, boots, waterproofs, coats and hats for winter and summer are essential wear at our nursery.
A portion of the day is structured and children have access to a computer where they can create and print their own work. This equipment enhances co-ordination and fine motor skills but time is carefully controlled. The children also have direct access to ''The Lavender Room'', a dedicated large indoor play area, used during inclement weather.
